Video Previews

On our website we have included 3 previews that show off the cake music video so the viewers can get an idea of what the music video will be like, it also shows the artist as an actual person in some parts e.g. jumping down the hill shows that he is a very hyperactive and fun loving person.  We included these so that the audience can get an idea of what the real Jayden Blake acts like.

Digipak Layout

This is the layout we are going to use for our digipak. We chose this layout so we could show off our artist in different ways, whether its just to show the artist or to show something that can be used to represent him and the album e.g. a cake.

Story Board

Our initial storyboard is shown above. We tried to stick with the storyboard in some areas for example the narrative for the music video is very much the same. The performance part of the storyboard however, is very different compared to what the final product was. Our performance shots initially were going to be the actor standing in a blacked out room with a single light being shone upon him however, we had slight complications where the camera footage was a very low quality because of the lack of light. We then decided to film the performance shots outside in various different places so we would have more variety. I believe that the video looks better with the performance shots we have now because we were able to flick between the three locations to create a fast pace that matched the beat of the song. The performance shots we used also fit the style of the song because the song was quite upbeat and the added colour in the performance shots reflected that.
